Purpose Statement & Core Beliefs

As ONE CHURCH, to collectively share the gospel and love of Jesus, through

both serving and praying for our community, in unity with other churches.

♰ We believe in one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons:

Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

♰ We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true Man; that He was conceived by the

Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; that He died upon the cross, the Just for the

unjust, as a substitutionary sacrifice; and, that He physically rose from the dead and

ascended back to the Father.

♰ We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to indwell, guide, teach, and

empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment.

♰ We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and

inerrant in the original writings, and of supreme and final authority in faith and life.

♰ We believe the Church consists of all those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, are

redeemed through His blood and are born again of the Holy Spirit; and, that Christ is

the Head of the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go into all the world

as a witness, preaching the gospel to all nations.

♰ We believe in the sanctity of human life: that every human being has the right to live,

from the moment of conception until natural death; and, that we do not have the right

to kill unborn children through intentional abortion nor to murder the elderly or

terminally ill through active euthanasia.

♰ We believe in the sanctity of marriage: that it is the divinely ordained union of a man

and a woman, exclusively; the original and perpetual foundation of the family unit;

and the only Biblical, moral context suited for the expression of human sexuality.
